I want to thank you, Father Tim Shreenan, for supporting and encouraging the Prayer Shawl Ministry. It’s such a beautiful example of how something simple, when done with prayer and God’s intent, can bring so much light into people’s lives. The idea of gathering to create something with our hands — not for recognition or profit, but purely out of love and faith — is a quiet act of grace that reminds us of what true community looks like. Each shawl carries not just warmth, but prayer, compassion, and connection. It’s such a gift to see people from different walks of life come together, talk, pray, and create something that will comfort someone they may never even meet. In a world that can feel so divided, this ministry is proof that small, prayerful acts done together can weave us closer to one another — and to God. Thank you for inspiring this kind of goodness within our parish and reminding us that faith can be lived out in the simplest, most meaningful ways.
